KATRINA's DEADLY GAME
Grabe yung hurricane Katrina... majority or New Orleans, Mississippi, Louisiana and others were completely wiped out from the map of America! The devastation caused thousands of deaths and hundred thousands more homeless. Sa evacuation center isa-isa silang namamatay because of lack of food, water and especially MEDICINE. I even saw a woman in the footage shouting for insulin! Imagine the scarcity of medical resources (even tissues), women fainting, children were dying, people with terminal illness worsen and eventually dies one by one, hour by hour... damn. This is sooo horrible! I definitely feel their pain. Kahit sabihin pa nating America's one of the richest and most powerful countries in the planet, I believe they still need help. Our help. Well I want to, but dahil nandito lang ako sa pinas, all I can offer are my prayers. I even planned to donate tissues sa redcross.org.. kahit yun lang... malaking tulong na yon I'm sure. But I salute the Americans coz they immediately gave heed to the evacuees and delivered massive relief goods and help... kung nakita nio ung footage sa CNN, andaming trucks that are struggling through the flooded New Orleans and helicopters flying to rescue more people. And the levees were almost half done!
Kung sa US ganon kagrabe ang hurricanes, as in houses were completely wrecked, hundreds of thousands people dead, dito kaya mangyari yun,, HINDI NATIN KAKAYANIN sheesh. Malamang burado na sa mapa ng mundo ang pinas. Tragedies come our way like they're only everyday happenings... like yung September 11 plane bombings, tsunami (the worst of them all), numerous typhoons dito saten (sa Quezon, hundreds were lost and left homeless), and now, hurricane Katrina.
Mababangis pala mga KATRINA! Sana Katrina na lang pangalan ko! hehe....
If you're currently reading this post, I now ask for your prayers. Not only for the Americans, but for the good of all the people AROUND THE WORLD. Visit my health and poverty links for more infos about this horrid tragedy.
...may God help us.
